The .308 Winchester cartridge is a heavy-hitting bullet that is capable of taking large game at medium to long distances. It is a relatively soft recoiling round for such a large round and combined with the lightweight carbon fiber barrel, makes this an excellent option for taking on long hunts. This barrel weights in under 2.47lbs and will fit AR10 style receivers easily, making your rifle lighter, more durable, and more accurate than most of the competition.

The Christensen Arms barrels are precision engineered from a match-grade 416R stainless steel barrel blank and are cut down to reduce weight. The barrel is then wrapped in a proprietary layered carbon fiber design that keeps the overall weight low while increasing accuracy and heat dissipation. Christensen Arms utilizes aerograde processes when button-rifling their barrels in house and undergo inspection to ensure that every barrel that leaves the facility meets the highest quality standards they are known for.
Christensen Arms was founded in Utah in 1995 when it branched off from the aerospace industry to pursue a patent on carbon fiber rifle barrels.
